After five years and more than 200 episodes, The Long Covid Podcast has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined. What began during my own recovery has become a space for conversations about Long Covid, ME/CFS, post‑viral illness, burnout, nervous system healing, breathwork, identity, and the slow return of possibility.
As the podcast has evolved, the name needed to evolve with it.
The Recovery Room reflects the wider, gentler focus the podcast now holds. It’s still the same heart, the same safety, the same commitment to honest, hopeful conversations — just with a name that makes room for the full landscape of recovery.
If you’ve been here from the beginning or you’re arriving today, thank you. The door is still open. The room is just a little bigger now.
Long Covid is estimated to affect at least 1 in 5 people infected with Covid-19. Some people recover within a few weeks or months, but there are many who have been on their recovery journey for much much longer.
Although there is no one "cure" for Long Covid or ME/CFS, and thousands of people have been searching for answers for a long time, people are recovering. In this podcast I hope to explore the many things that can be done to help, through a mix of medical experts, researchers, and personal experience & recovery stories.
Recovery is possible - I and many others have recovered. The puzzle is finding our own way through - and this is what I like to explore.
